About Us
Blocks is a portuguese company founded in 2013 with the objective to create affordable, innovative and easy-to-use 3D printers. Every year we estabilish ourselves more in the market by creating and producing innovative and complete 3D printers that enable creators, manufacturers and designers to materialize their ideas.
History
2021
2021 was a development year and estabilishing year for our team where we created all the departments.
We launched the new Blocks R21 which has a lot of innovations developed in-house.
2020
In August 2020 the Blocks brand was acquired by a new group of ex-emplyes together with a investment fund. We re-started the production and all the commercial relationships.
2018
In June 2018 Blocks launched two new printers. Blocks One MKII was the second generation of Blocks One completed and updated with a new structure and features.
Blocks also entered the industrial market by launching Blocks Pro S30 which is completely ready to operate on a factory floor and is at the time the biggest volume printer Blocks has produced.
2017
In March 2017 Blocks launched Blocks Zero through a crowdfunding campaign in Indiegogo successfully completed and funded. Blocks Zero was the first DIY kit developed by Blocks and was created for the education market.
2016
During this year and due to the success of Blocks One, Blocks focused on producing this product and developing a new one, even more affordable than Blocks One.
2015
Blocks was created by 3 friends with the same objective. To create 3D printers that were affordable, easy-to-use and able to tackle any task that our clients needed them to. In April 2015, the first generation of the Blocks One was launched receiving awesome feedback from the clients but also from prestigious tech magazines.
